The packaging for the Strike Fighter Series was a powerful design featuring the replica F-15 flight stick sitting in the actual cockpit of an F-15. There were 4 different flight stick versions ranging from fully-programmable to basic. Each version was designated by a specific color.

The F-15E Eagle, the most expensive and feature packed version of the series was packaged in a display box with a cover flap that when opened revealed the flight stick behind a clear window in a cockpit setting.

At the time of introduction, the average flight stick sold for approximately $30.00. The F-15E Eagle version of the Strike Fighter Series sold for $195.99. This version, regardless of the extreme price point, out-sold the competition 5 to 1 and became the best selling controller during it's life cycle.

In the days of floppy disks (1984), Compu-Pak, Inc. introduced Swimsuit Diskettes. Blank disks that just happened to feature beautiful women in swimsuits on the corner labels and box. A puppy dog and endangered species version were also introduced with all proceeds going to charity.

Product packaging was conceived and designed internally at Konami, with final approval from headquarters in Japan.

I designed several boxes for Nintendo and Sega titles including the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, a licensed property.

Konami U.S.A., Inc.
Lethal Enforcers Consumer Version

A very popular coin-op game found at arcades, Lethal Enforcers was one of the best selling amusement games of all time.

To capitalize on it's coin-op success, we introduced a consumer version of the game for Sega, Nintendo and PC formats.

Packaging, brochure and ad development and final game production was my divisions responsibility. Although Konami had an ad agency relationship, the vast majority of development and production was internal.
